You can delete your SpryLearning account and the personal information associated with it, including any child profiles you manage. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.
Delete from within the app
- Open SpryLearning and sign in as the account holder.
- Go to Account (or the parent area → settings).
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Request deletion by email
Prefer us to handle it? Email help@sprylearning.com.au from the email address on your account with the subject “Account deletion request”. To protect your account, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, role).
- Child profiles you created, including their names, year levels, and avatars.
- Learning activity such as quiz attempts, progress, baselines, coins, and trophies.
- Support requests linked to your account.
What may be retained
We may retain limited information where required by law, to resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or meet financial and tax obligations (for example, records of subscription transactions held by the app store). Any retained data is kept only as long as necessary and is then deleted or de-identified.
Timing
Deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days. Some backup copies may persist for a limited additional period before being overwritten in the normal course of operations.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription. Please also cancel any active subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
